TREKS DURATION
The programs here below include, on top of the trek, 4 days in Kathmandu.
Attention please: Before the trek, one full day in Kathmandu is necessary to comply with the formalities; after the trek at least one day is required as a security day for your international flight (For Dolpo and Kanchenjunga: 2 to 3 days).
Saturday and Sunday are bank holidays in Nepal. If you arrive on Friday, you will have to wait two more days in Kathmandu and if you arrive on Saturday one more day will be required.
For some treks it is possible to arrange the formalities in advance, so that you can leave for your trek the following day of your arrival.

LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY
*         Low altitude treks, generally below 3000 m, on easy trails.
* *     Treks on some more difficult itineraries, generally below 4500 m. They are suitable for any fit person able to walk 5 to 6 hours per day.
* * *   High altitude treks (up to 5500 m), with important altitude differences in the daily stages. They require fitness and endurance.
* * * *  Trekking peak ascents: they require an absolute fitness as well as mountaineering skills (crampons, ice-axe, harness …).

River runs last up to 10 days and are suitable to beginners as well as to experienced people.

Hiking, canoeing and elephant ride will provide a chance to see wild animals in their natural environment: mainly monkeys, rhinoceros and a wide range of birds, but also deers, crocodiles and, much more seldom, a tiger.

Included: Road transfers, all meals and lodging (in bungalows), elephant ride, canoe trip, hiking (with an English speaking guide) to watch wild animals and an original evening exhibition of traditional Tharu dances.

Temples, palaces and monasteries abound in Kathmandu valley. Tin-Tin Trekking organises 1 or 2 days tours to all the interesting touristic spots: Swayambunath Stupa, Bodanath, Bhaktapur, Pashupatinath, etc...

8 days Tibet tour: 750 $

This program is exclusively organised for people booking a trek or a trekking peak program.

Kathmandu - Zhangmu - Xegar - Shigatse - Gyantse ( Tashilump and Phalkor Monasteries,  Kumbun Stupa) -  Yamdrok Lake - 2 days in Lhasa (Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Bazar, Potala,  Drepung and Sera monasteries) - Kathmandu (flight).
Departure on Saturday.
Included: Bed & breakfast, road transfers (minibus) and  Lhasa-Kathmandu flight, an English speaking guide,  monasteries entry fees,  China-Tibet visa, airport-hotel transfer.
Not included: Lunch and dinner, airport tax (12 $), transfer to Kodari (8 $), drinks, tips.
Booking and visa: Booking advance: 750 $ . Required information : name, profession, date of birth, passport number, address, telephone, date of departure. The agency must absolutely get your passports before thursday evening. To avoid an extra charge of 30 $, passports should be given to the agency before sunday evening.
Extra charges: 50 $. In case the road conditions are too bad, the road transfer will be done with a four wheel drive vehicle

More than 7 days before the departure date: 50% of the price.
Less than 7 days before the departure date: 100% of the price.
