This is probably one of world's most beautiful treks. It will take you through a wonderful variety of landscape and culture, from the subtropical lower Marsyangdi valley where Gurung and Thakali dominate to the northern arid Buddhist areas. Along the Marsyangdi river, on easy trails and suspension bridges, through rice terraces and forests, we will slowly gain altitude and acclimatize well. After Pisang we will get stunning extremely up-close views of snowy and glaciated high peaks including Annapurnas II, III and IV. Huge glacial moraines abound, etched deeply by wind erosion into fantastic pillars. The Thorong La (5415 m) wilderness is one of the highlights of this trek ....... Details		This is one of Nepal’s most famous treks, set amongst breath-taking high mountain scenery, through the Khumbu - Sherpa country. After a magnificent mountain flight to Lukla we follow the Dudh Kosi valley to Namche Bazaar. Through small yak-grazing settlements we reach the Gokyo lakes where we climb Gokyo Peak (5480m) and enjoy stunning summit mountain scenery including Everest, Makalu and Cho Oyo. From this point we follow a trail heading south for Phortse, then north for Pheriche. After the ascent of Kala Pattar (5545m) and the impressive up-close view of Everest, our return route passes through Tengboche, a magnificent location with a fascinating monastery. Manaslu (8156m) is the world's seventh highest peak. This area, situated close to the Annapurna massif, was only opened for trekking in 1992 and is now acknowledged as one of the finest trekking routes. Heading north from Gorkha, along the Burhi Gandaki river, the route then turns westwards into a high alpine valley with typical Tibetan villages and a number of fine monasteries. A steeper ascent to Larkya La pass (5212m) is rewarded by stunning views of the Manaslu and Annapurna peaks. At Dharapani, we join the Annapurna circuit and follow the Marsyangdi river south. As beautiful as the famous "Annapurna circuit", this trek leads through unspoiled regions where we will meet .......
